As Cannon is independent and not linked to any investment house or bank, relationships have been established with associated professionals in London; Neuchätel in Switzerland; Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town in South Africa; Lusaka in Zambia; and Gaborone in Botswana.

Clients' investments are held either by stockbrokers or banks as custodians, or in registered or unregistered form in the name of one of our subsidiaries. The range of services available to our clientele include the following:

• "Private banking" services (through our excellent relationships with major banks in Guernsey)
• Introduction to the UK property market and assistance with mortgage arrangements
• Advice and quotations for life assurance related products

Cannon is fully licensed by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission ("GFSC") to carry on fiduciary activities under The Regulation of Fiduciaries, Administrative Businesses and Company Directors, etc. (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2000.

Cannon is also regulated by the GFSC under The Protection of Investors (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 1987.

In accordance with these laws Cannon, amongst other requirements, maintains a certain level of financial resources and a minimum level of professional indemnity insurance.
