Cannon Asset Management Limited
("Cannon"), established in May, 1997 is a Guernsey
registered and domiciled financial services company.
Its executives have many years of experience in
providing offshore personal financial planning
services and advice, particularly in Southern
Africa. The major shareholders and Executive
Directors are Adrian Cann, Richard van Vliet, Jeff
Corbet and Cathy van Vliet.

Professional Relationships & Services...
A significant part of our client
base is from Southern Africa and our objective is to
provide them with a distinctively personal service,
including regular personal visits by Executives.
In pursuance of this objective,
Cannon has acquired a majority shareholding in
Cannon Asset Managers (Pty) Limited,
headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa. Through
this company, we are able to offer local investment
management and stockbroking services.
Furthermore, as Cannon is
independent and not linked to any investment house
or bank, relationships have been established with
associated professionals in London; Neuchätel in
Switzerland; Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth
and Cape Town in South Africa; Lusaka in Zambia; and
Gaborone in Botswana.
Clients' investments are held either
by stockbrokers or banks as custodians, or in
registered or unregistered form in the name of one
of our subsidiaries. The range of services available

Regulation & Licensing...
Cannon is fully licensed by the
Guernsey Financial Services Commission ("GFSC")
to carry on fiduciary activities under The
Regulation of Fiduciaries, Administrative Businesses
and Company Directors, etc. (Bailiwick of Guernsey)
Law, 2000.
Cannon is also regulated by the GFSC
under The Protection of Investors (Bailiwick of
Guernsey) Law, 1987.
In accordance with these laws
Cannon, amongst other requirements, maintains a
certain level of financial resources and a minimum
level of professional indemnity insurance.

The team at Cannon have between them
many years of experience in trust and company
administration. To further enhance these skills,
members of staff are actively encouraged to study
for professional qualifications relevant to our
business, including the
Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners
("STEP") Foundation Certificate and Diploma in
Offshore Trust Management; the
Institute of
Chartered Secretaries and Administrators
("ICSA") Certificate and Diploma in Offshore Finance
and Administration; and the Certificate in
International Financial Administration ("CIFA"). |
