Starting my career off in Johannesburg, South Africa, I obtained my Bachelor of Accounting degree at the University of Witwatersrand during which I joined Price Waterhouse and qualified as a South African Chartered Accountant. I have subsequently also become a member Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales.
On leaving PWC, I became the sole proprietor of an audit practice in Johannesburg, with work focused on international mergers & acquisitions, taxation and financial structures. During this time, I represented Swiss and German investors wishing to buy South African businesses, as well as the Jersey General Group, an offshore investment group of companies now trading as Ashburton in South Africa.

Cannon Asset Management Limited and Stenham Trustees Limited form part of the management owned Stenham Cannon Group. We continue to offer direct personal services to individuals and families requiring offshore financial services and exposure.
I currently hold various Board positions on company and investment funds exposed to property, equity, insurance and alternative investments. These companies include Globalworth Real Estate Limited, a London Stock Exchange-listed company and Lango Real Estate Management Limited, which is a property fund focused on retail and office property in Africa. Prior to its sale to F&C Investments, I held a position as a main board member of Thames River Capital Holdings Limited, a fund management company with $9bn under management.
Outside of work you will find me watching sport, travelling to various countries focusing on wildlife destinations, exploring history and cultures and together with Cathy, assisting with philanthropy work.
